BIOS version firmware description:
_NO_MIPI version:By default, the MIPI7 inch screen is turned off and can only be displayed in HDMI,
Turn on the MIPI7 inch screen, which can also display HDMI,
(Using MIPI7 inch screen as the main screen)
The 4G, 8G, 16G RAM of S4/S8/S16 exhibitions X1
"1.8V" or "3.3V" in the file name indicates that the IO level (I2C,GPIO,UART,SPI) corresponds to 1.8V/3.3V
Be careful not to brush the wrong version, otherwise the machine may become unstable. And we do not guarantee this.
Note:
Before updating the BIOS, be sure to confirm the memory size of your youyeetooX1 and select the corresponding BIOS version based on the memory size.
The method to determine the memory RAM size is as follows
As shown in the figure, there is a QR code on the back of X1, and the numbers in the red box correspond to the RAM size of X1,
If it is 4, it means 4G,
When selecting BIOS firmware, only firmware with the "S4" field in the firmware name can be selected.
If it is 4, it means 4G,
When selecting BIOS firmware, only firmware with the "S4" field in the firmware name can be selected.

The X1 default factory BIOS is HDMI display, the default IO level (I2C,GPIO,UART,SPI) is 3.3V, the MIPI display is turned off, and the digital microphone on the front of the board is used by default. If you need to use the MIPI screen, you need to change the corresponding BIOS, if you want to use the analog MIC on the back, you need to change the BIOS, if you want to adjust the IO voltage to 1.8V, you need to change the BIOS
Download the complete BIOS package
Be careful not to brush the wrong version, otherwise the machine may become unstable. And we do not guarantee this.
Download the BIOS update software
, Download the BIOS update package
.
Tips: Since the software needs to run on the X1, download it via the X1 or download it on another PC and copy it to the X1.
Unzip them and put the unzipped bin files
from the BIOS Update Package
into the BIOS folder of the BIOS Update Software
.
Run X1UpgradeBIOS.exe
in X1, select the bios bin file to be updated.
If the selected firmware does not match the specifications of the X1, the software will indicate this in RED.
When selecting the correct firmware:
Update in progress.
The update is complete.
Be careful not to brush the wrong version, otherwise the machine may become unstable. And we do not guarantee this.
Download the complete BIOS update package, copy all the files in the figure below from the downloaded complete BIOS update package to the root directory of the USB drive, insert the USB drive, and power on to enter the update BIOS program.
To update other versions of BIOS, simply download the bin file of the BIOS you want to update from the "bin file of different versions of BIOS update packages", rename it to BIOS.bin, and then replace the BIOS.bin file in the "complete BIOS update package". Then copy it to the root directory of the USB drive, plug it in and power it on, and you can update it to the BIOS version you want.
For example:
The X1 you have is the 8G DDR4+128GeMMC version. If you want to use the MIPI 7-inch screen as the default display, want to use the digital MIC on the top of the board for audio input, and the IO voltage is adjusted to 1.8V, then you should select "X1_01_Digital_S8_20231023164401_1.8V.bin", Rename it bios.bin and replace it in the "Full bios Package", then copy all the files in the "Full BIOS Package" to the root directory of the USB flash drive, insert X1 and boot, it will enter the BIOS update process.
